Dr. Gwyn Davis is a graduate of A&T State University, Greensboro, NC and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts.
A member of the American Dental Association, National Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, NC Dental Society & the Old North State Dental Society, The Charlotte Links, Inc., Boule member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Society, Inc. and member of the Consortium of Doctors.
Dr. Davis was the first Afro-American female dental resident at the now Carolinas Medical Center. She is also the first Afro-American female dentist in the city of Charlotte North Carolina.
She has served on the board of Children's Theater, TAPPS and Domestic Violence Committee.
In 2002, she was named Dentist of the Year by her colleagues of The Old North State Dental Society of NC.
